About us - The Engineering Battle Plan
We have young children. We want them to succeed. So, we created GameHero.
The next few years will see an incredible jump in the competitiveness of the technology job market as people compete for fewer positions due to A.I. We want to ensure our kids become elite standouts.
Our mission - Secure a future for our children in the A.I. dominated workplace
Provide children with the fastest, most comprehensive, workplace-ready STEM education—one that is as engaging as video games and rivals the best private institutions.
- Monitor and Adapt. Monitor developments in A.I. and adjust our curriculum to stay current.
- As Fun As Screens. Students must be as excited about learning as they are about screen time.
- Teach with Purpose. Teach students specific, job-focused skills—like interns in real-world roles. No 'kiddie' stuff allowed.
A big problem - A.I. is threatening our children's future
Real talk - no marketing.
We are deeply concerned about how our children will find meaning and success as A.I. dominates the workforce. Right now, people say A.I. is 'just' a really good tool, and many are optimistic about how it will impact humanity. No doubt, a lot of good will come with A.I., but no one ever really addresses the elephant in the room—if A.I. is already reaching graduate-level performance on a wide range of tasks (yes, it is), then what happens to everyone else? What happens to our kids?
The answer is simple: we have to adapt, or else. Unfortunately, conventional education is not the answer. That’s not easy for us to admit—we have Ivy League degrees!
Our education system is over 150 years old. It was designed in a time when the pace of innovation was much slower. It was built with a specific purpose: to give students generic skills so they could work on an assembly line. So, if you've ever wondered why school isn't very practical or hands-on, there's your answer. It's because it was designed for a different time and a different purpose. We need a system that is purpose-built to address today’s challenges: A.I., the speed of innovation, and workplace demands.
The solution - How GameHero solves this problem
We have a plan, and it is built on these principles.
- Educate with Purpose. Teach specific real-world workplace skills, not generic ones
- Speed is Critical. Given the rapid development of A.I., if you teach something that takes 4 years to learn, it might be obsolete by the time students graduate. We need to accelerate learning.
- Don't be afraid to Adapt. As workplace demands shift and A.I. develops, we must adjust our curriculum accordingly.
- Forward Thinking. We must always answer the question: 'What will the workplace need as A.I. develops?' And ensure our curriculum teaches those skills.
- Start Early. Students who can demonstrate their value, knowledge, and skills early will have the best chance to succeed and keep pace with the evolving landscape.
- Marketing is Key. Students need to distinguish themselves from their peers. The best way to do that is with a portfolio—and that portfolio must feature work that is relevant to, and on par with, professional standards if it is going to impress anyone.
